Okay so sometimes I want to give up on this whole Sienna in a crib thing... Especially that now when we say "BED-TIME!" She does her scrunch face cry! Oh and of course when I try to put her into the crib she has her claws comfortably digging into my shoulders as if I am placing her into a pit of snakes! Oh and another thing... The way she looks up at us as she clutches the bars of her cell with tears streaming... Okay, WTF are we doing this for?! Oh right she needs to sleep in her OWN bed...
Well for the past several nights (I don't know the exact number as they are all blurry and tiring) she has been going to bed at 8:30 and screaming anywhere from 30-60 minutes... It is slowly getting easier, not as LOUD, and sometimes she will go to sleep within thirty minutes if one of us sticks our arm through the bars and lets her snuggle with it until she passes out...
Next step... Get her to sleep through the night in her crib... Yes, that's right, she's coming back into our bed midway as we cannot deal with the insanely loud screams while we are in that bizarre stage of half-sleep... Last night she started to wail and I, half asleep, said "UGH WHAT SHOULD I DO!" and Kyle said "I DON'T KNOW!" a little too angrily!
It seems like once she wakes up and realizes she is still in the pit o' snakes she's so ready to get the hell out of there that she would actually scream forEVER if we didn't get her out!
May I reiterate.... One step at a time folks!
